The Quadro4x with 4 FXO ports has the same feature set as the standard Quadro4x. It only differs in that it has 4 total FXO ports. Thephysical size of the Quadro4x enclosure is taller to accommodate the additional ports. Quadro4x systems with 2 FXO ports are not fieldupgradeableto systems with 4 FXO ports.

The Quadro4x is ideal for the small to medium size business locations with a higher need for IP Phone extensions. It is an IP router, SIPgateway and IP PBX all in one box. The Quadro4x is equipped with four FXS ports for connection of standard analog POTS phones or faxmachines. Thirty additional IP phones can be configured as SIP extensions. In addition, there are two FXO ports for connection to thePSTN. With a built-in QoS router, LAN voice traffic can be routed to the Internet, eliminating the need for an additional IP router. TheQuadro incorporates a stateful inspection firewall, NAT, DHCP client and server, and web browser configuration. In addition to the featuresof the 2x, the Quadro4x adds USB ports for voicemail memory expansion. With the purchase of a software key (SKU-QUADRO-0710), theQuadro4x can expand to support 16 more IP phone extensions, bringing the total to 50 analog and IP extensions. One additional softwarekey (SKU-QUADRO-0710) can be purchased to add 16 more IP phone extensions, brining the total to 66 analog and IP extensions. Onefree Quadro Communications Manager license is included with the base system.Note: One free Epygi softphone, the QuadroCommunications Manager (QCM), license is included with the base system. The Quadro 4x includes 30 IP Phone ports and 4 FXSports.
